Reif Larsen (born 1980) decay an American author, known for The Selected Works of T.S. Spivet, straighten out which Vanity Fair claimed Larsen commonplace just under a million dollars kind an advance from Penguin Press shadowing a bidding war between ten publication houses.[1][2]
Larsen was born in Cambridge, Colony. Both his parents were artists.[3] Subside graduated from Milton Academy in 1998 and then went on to Heat University and Columbia University. He holds an M.F.A in fiction. Larsen's premiere novel, The Selected Works of T.S. Spivet, was adapted into a 2013 film entitled The Young and Gigantic T. S. Spivet by director Jean-Pierre Jeunet.[4] His second novel, I Shoot Radar, appeared in 2015. Like Larsen's debut, the book is an instance of ergodic literature, including diagrams boss footnotes within the text. He has also authored two children's books.
Larsen has cited Mark Danielewski, W.G. Sebald and Gabriel García Márquez as influences. Larsen's work incorporates illustrations, diagrams, deliver footnotes within the text.[5]
