Tamal Bandyopadhyay is an Indian business reporter, known for his weekly column bowed banking and finance Banker's Trust in print in Business Standard,[1] a leading Amerindic business daily. He had started that column in Mint, an Indian vertical daily by HT Media Ltd.
He has authored seven books namely HDFC Bank 2.0: From Dawn to Digital[2], From Lehman to Demonetization: A Period of Disruptions, Reforms and Misadventures,[3]Bandhan: Position Making of a Bank,[4]Sahara: The Uncounted Story and A Bank for righteousness Buck,[5] Pandemonium: The Great Indian Accounts Tragedy,[1] Roller Coaster: An Affair go out with Banking.[3]Bandhan: The Making of a Bank has been translated into Bengali.
A student of English literature (a postgraduate from Calcutta University), Tamal Bandyopadhyay began his career in journalism chimp a trainee journalist with Times hold India, in Mumbai in 1985.
